The Everest Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The Everest Foundation’s primary mission and focus is to promote Graduate Medical Education (GME) and research and raise awareness to the world’s healthcare needs. The Foundation works with U.S. medical schools to implement Graduate Medical Educational programs, and long-term research endowments. The Foundation supports research at community and university-based residency programs in many specialties including Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Family Medicine, Pathology, Psychiatry and General Surgery. The Everest Foundation also supports rural and urban underserved community-based programs across the country, and it encourages Everest Scholars to commit 3-5 years to underserved areas post-residency. The Foundation funds international programs that often partner with US residency programs to create valuable service and a richer curriculum experience. Additionally, it strongly supports the 6 ACGME Core Competencies as an effective mandate to enhance better accreditation for residency programs where the Foundation is engaged.

Job Description
- Create and develop new strategies to enhance the Employer’s relationships with residency programs and institutions.
- Maintain relationships with program directors, Dios, GME directors, etc., and advocate for the placement of Everest Scholars.
- Support and operationalize the mission statement, vision, and values of the organization.
- Support the leadership team and staff in the identification, research, cultivation, and solicitation of prospective relationships with institutions
- Strengthen and promote the public image, mission, philosophy, and values of the organization with public and private agencies, individuals, corporations, and foundations to define the role philanthropy plays in supporting research and medical programs
- Ensure the effective communication of organizational vision, mission, and values to all constituents
- Provide support to the Employer’s board to ensure effectiveness in your role as a key solicitor of top prospects
- Travel to visit programs on an annual basis to strengthen the Employer's relationships, as well as promoting its mission and initiatives
Desired Skills and Experience
- Master’s Degree preferred
- GME Foundation experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
- Must be flexible; maintain a “can do” attitude
