Dr. Tatsuhiro Kato is a PGY-3 Diagnostic Radiology resident at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. Kato completed his internship in General Surgery in Knoxville and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville where he finished at the top of his class.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Kato served on his medical school’s Curriculum Committee, where he collaborated with faculty to enhance and optimize medical learning. This role provided him with valuable insight into curriculum development, effective teaching strategies, and the principles of adult medical education.
As a tutor, Dr. Kato combines his strong academic foundation, firsthand experience navigating medical training, and passion for teaching to help students develop a thorough understanding of complex concepts and achieve their educational goals. He has had excellent success tutoring students for USMLE Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 and the OET exams.
