Coming from a family of doctors in Europe, Ms. Ruta is an international graduate as a prestigious lawyer. She has a deep, personal understanding of the medical profession and the unique challenges medical students, unmatched, and/or fellowship applicants face when pursuing residency in the United States.
As a subject matter expert in residency and fellowship placement, Ms. Ruta provides personalized guidance to medical school students & graduates, helping them strategize their residency applications, strengthen their CV’s, and take the right steps toward achieving residency. She understands the uncertainty, stress, and high stakes involved in this journey and offers one-on-one expertise to help her candidates achieve their dream residency.
At Residents Medical, Ruta works directly with her cohorts, assessing their credentials, mentoring them on how to enhance their competitiveness, and connecting them with the right program, mentorship, and residency/fellowship training opportunities. She specializes in helping IMGs bridge the gap between their international medical education and the expectations of U.S. residency programs, ensuring they are well-prepared to succeed.
Beyond her work with medical graduates, Ruta is an international advocate, co-founder, and board member of the International Business Women Network (IBWN). Ms. Ruta is charged with helping her candidates achieve their dream residency or fellowship, and to assist Residents Medical start in ACGME accredited residency & fellowship training programs.
